Able Types offers a valuable service to a number of clubs and societies, for whom we can design the membership forms, manage the administration of subscription accounts, and send out newsletters, renewal invitations and other mailings.

For example, For several years Able Types has handled the membership details for specialist sections of the College of Occupational Therapists. We maintain the membership database, recording members' details and interests, and deal with any enquiries. All this is done within the principles of the Data Protection Act 1998. Each year we send out renewal reminders. We process all applications, acknowledge receipt of dues, and send out welcome packs and membership cards. We distribute the regular newsletters and deal with ad hoc requests such as notices of meetings or minutes. We also deals regularly with conferences, taking bookings, sending out receipts, collating conference packs and producing lists and badges. Currently we have contracts with COTSSIH (specialist section in housing), OTOP (older people), AOTMH (mental health), NOTPA (pain) and OTWPP (work and productivity).
