For example, Able Types has been working with Vicon Motion Systems for several years. Vicon has developed technology to capture three–dimensional motion through a group of video cameras and use the resulting data mainly in the fields of medicine and entertainment.
At the heart of the technology are the reflective markers attached to the person being videoed. Able Types staff cover these miniature foam or plastic spheres with minute strips of reflective tape and then heat and roll them to ensure that the balls are perfectly spherical.
